Get to Know Me

I’ve always been interested in the way people think, feel, and make sense of their experiences. That curiosity eventually became a career in therapy, where I get to help people better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives.

I’m a Dallas native and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin before returning home to complete my Master of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University, where I specialized in trauma treatment. I’m also trained in EMDR and enjoy helping clients work through experiences that continue to influence present-day patterns.

I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationship stress, major life transitions, and trauma. Those years can bring a lot of change, pressure, and uncertainty, and I value being able to offer a steady, objective space to work through it.

In session, I’m warm, collaborative, and laid-back. I’ll laugh with you, sit with you through the hard moments, ask questions, offer feedback, and challenge you when it feels helpful. I want therapy to feel safe and supportive, but also purposeful. Not every session will feel like a breakthrough, and some of the most meaningful work can be uncomfortable. My goal is for you to feel supported, challenged, and empowered.

One of the things I value most about being a therapist is the trust clients place in me. It’s a privilege to be invited into both the highs and the lows, and I love watching clients gain insight, confidence, and a stronger sense of themselves over time.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually baking sourdough, playing mahjong, watching a good show or movie, or spending time with friends, family, and my dog. I’m a big believer in having hobbies and things to look forward to, so I try to practice what I preach. Fall is my favorite season, spooky season has my heart, and I’m almost always in the middle of a book.
